Well I got the OK to head back to Pretty Lucky next weekend. I'll have to come back for a meeting but other then that I am good for a while.
I gotta move to a new marina. this one don't allow you to hang clothes to dry, fish from your boat, change batteries or do some engine repairs, no where to dock your dingy, no wifi..though the city has wifi with pop ups the keep you from down loading anything, no place to wash the sail or fold them...they sent me to a grassy area thats used as a dog walk area, with lost of crap all over the ground. so at the price I'm paying I can find something better. ofcourse reedville is a lot better place and a lot cheaper, just nothing near by. so any stores will be atleast a 6 mile hike to it and back.
if anyone wants to stop by Hampton, just give me the heads up. it'll take me a day or so to clean up. lol.

Sounds like a snobby joint for yachties, not boaters. Sometimes it's better to get a little less by way of ambiance and more by way of amenities.

nope it's not a blue blazer club...it's more like a "projects" type place. the only thing going for them is that they allow live aboards. to be truthful I would have stayed on the pileling(SIC) if I had a place to shower and a bathroom. I was just worried that I would lose battery power and the boat might get water in it, but some dumbass punk drunk basterd kept unplugging my powercord at night and the boat has been floating with no water entering since Dec.I just got the cord hooked up again on June 3 and it was as dry as it could be.so I might pull out of the slip and just dingy back in for shower and water then I can hang my clothes out to dry swap out the batteries, and get the deck washed up. lol.
